Aktuālās izstādes
Daces Lielās izstāde "AINAS un AINAVAS"
5.septembris - 5. decembris
Dace Lielā ir viena no nozīmīgākajām mūsdienu Latvijas ainavas glezniecības pārstāvēm – māksliniece, kuras daiļrades centrā ir daba, tās mainīgums, gaisma un atmosfēra. Izstādē “AINAS un AINAVAS” eksponēti 2026. gadā tapušie darbi, kuros māksliniece turpina pievērsties apkārtējās vides vērojumam, īpašu nozīmi piešķirot ūdenim – upei, ezeram, dīķim un citām ūdens virsmām.
Izstādes nosaukums “AINAS un AINAVAS” atklāj Daces Lielās pieeju dabas attēlojumam – viņas gleznas nav konkrētu vietu vai mirkļu precīzi fiksējumi, bet no atmiņām un pieredzes veidoti, vispārināti dabas tēli. Smalkā toņkārta, niansētā detalizētība un lakoniskais, atturīgais skatījums ļauj māksliniecei uztvert dabu tās nepārtrauktajā mainībā, atklājot gaismas, materialitātes un noskaņas mijiedarbību.
Ulda Pīlēna jubilejas personālizstāde “U.P. OTRA PUSE”

Current exhibitions
Dace Lielā’s Exhibition “SCENES and LANDSCAPES”
5 September – 5 December
Dace Lielā is one of the most significant representatives of contemporary Latvian landscape painting – an artist whose work centres on nature, its constant change, light and atmosphere. The exhibition “SCENES and LANDSCAPES” presents works created in 2026, in which the artist continues to observe and explore her surroundings, placing particular emphasis on water – rivers, lakes, ponds and other water surfaces.
The title of the exhibition, “SCENES and LANDSCAPES,” reflects Dace Lielā’s approach to depicting nature. Her paintings are not precise records of specific places or moments, but rather generalized images of nature shaped by memory and experience. A subtle tonal palette, nuanced attention to detail and a laconic, restrained perspective allow the artist to perceive nature in its continuous state of transformation, revealing the interplay of light, materiality and mood.
A Jubilee Solo Exhibition by Uldis Pīlēns "U.P. OTRA PUSE"
5 October – 9 January
Uldis Pīlēns is best known to the public as an architect and the founder of the UPB holding company. This exhibition turns its attention to a less visible dimension of his creative practice. Drawing from his personal archive, it brings together posters, photographs, watercolours, drawings and architectural sketches created during his studies in Weimar as part of his engagement with the Bauhaus tradition. The exhibition also features scenographic materials created for Liepāja Theatre, alongside recent paintings that the artist describes as his “colour meditations.”
Roberts Koļcovs Solo Exhibition “The Inertia and Pull of Silence”
8 October – 9 January
Roberts Koļcovs is one of Latvia’s most distinctive and recognisable artists, whose practice is deeply rooted in an exploration of the human body, nature, line, rhythm, and form. From 8 October, Ola Foundation is presenting his anniversary exhibition, The Inertia and Pull of Silence, featuring predominantly works created over the past year, including paintings and sculptural objects. At the heart of the exhibition is silence, conceived not as absence or stillness, but as an intense space with its own movement, tension, and inertia—continuing the artist’s characteristic engagement with polarity and the interplay of opposites.
The exhibition brings together the human body, nature, and mythological imagery with precise line, rhythm, and a range of materials. In a departure from his customary ink drawings on paper, Koļcovs presents works on canvas combining ink and acrylic, alongside sculptures made of welded and polished steel. For the artist, form is not an end in itself, but a means of approaching and revealing content, while the titles of the works serve as points of departure, leaving space for the viewer’s own perception and interpretation.
We offer guided tours of the Ola Foundation complex and current exhibitions for groups of 10 to 20 people. If you wish to book guide services, please write to the email: ola@olafoundation.lv
