From July 25 to October 30, 2025, at the “Ola
Foundation" presents an exhibition of paintings by the outstanding Latvian painter Maija Tabaka
a solo exhibition - an event that promises to become one of the most significant of this
one of the season's cultural highlights in Latvia.
The exhibition is special by the fact that all the works exhibited are from private collections and are available for public viewing only in this exhibition, making it a unique and exclusive art experience.
The artist herself also participated in the selection process, choosing the works with personal significance, giving each of them a place in this special selection. Each work has its own story, mood, and deeper meaning.
Maija Tabaka is an icon of Latvian painting - vivid, distinctive, and consistent in her artistic vision. Her painting is technically sophisticated, emotionally incisive and symbolically rich - it connects surrealism with everyday life, the moods of the era with individual experience.
The exhibition curators are Ivonna Veiherte and Zane Reķe.
