On 22 April at 19.00 invites you to a special concert - COMPOSER KĀRLIS LĀCIS’S AUTHOR EVENING.
It will be an evening where creative power, intelligence, humour and depth come together - everything that defines Kārlis Lācis’s music and personality.
Kārlis Lācis is one of the most prominent and versatile contemporary Latvian composers. His music lives in theatre, film, concert halls and listeners’ memories - it is bold, emotional and always recognisable. He can be subtly ironic, movingly sincere and a powerful master of dramatic form.
The evening’s special guest is singer Aija Andrejeva-Aišpure and the “Sinfonietta Rīga” string quartet will make this concert all the more special.
At the concert, Kārlis Lācis’s musical world will unfold vividly and authentically, exactly as it is best experienced at Ola - up close, without distance, in conversation with the listener.
