Maija Kovaļevska and Agnese Egliņa
March 14 at 7:00 p.m.
There are artists whose return to Ola is always a special event.
Maija Kovaļevska’s concert last summer still lives on in our memory - with that incomparable sense of presence, when her beautiful soprano filled Ola and time seemed to stand still for a moment.
We are truly delighted and honored that, between performances on the world’s stages, Maija Kovaļevska is returning to Ola with a specially created spring program.
Joining Maija is the wonderful Agnese Egliņa, one of the outstanding Latvian pianists of her generation.
The program features the brightest pages of opera: arias by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Giacomo Puccini and other composers, filled with passion, tenderness, strength, and fragility.
These pearls of the operatic world will sound up close at Ola - nuanced, profound, and sincere.
Concert in 2 parts
The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.; guests are warmly invited from 6:15 p.m. for a welcome glass of wine and a viewing of the current art exhibitions.
We look forward to welcoming you at Ola!
