On September 8 at 19:00, in the Ola Foundation cultural space will host in its premises a special concert program "Over the river. Ziedonis and Vācietis." with the participation of the legendary and popular actor Ģirts Jakovljevs, the young rising opera star Katrīna Paula Felsberga and well-known musicians - Agnese Egliņa (pianist) and Guntars Freibergs (percussionist).

September is the time of poetry in Latvia. In the evening programme we will listen to poetry and Latvian vocal chamber music with the words of our outstanding poets Imants Ziedonis and Ojārs Vācietis. The poetry, which is written in golden letters in Latvian culture, will be read by the charismatic actor Ģirts Jakovļevs.
In the course of the evening, several compositions created by the Latvian composers of different generations, namely, Pēteris Vasks, Jēkabs Jančevskis, Romualds Kalsons, Pēteris Plakidis, Pauls Dambis, Imants Zemzaris, Kārlis Lācis and Arturs Maskats, will be performed. Those composers have, in different periods of time, woven the words of the two poets in their own musical language. This musical performance will be opened by the young and talented singer Katrīna Paula Felsberga and experienced musicians - Agnese Egliņa (pianist) and Guntars Freibergs (percussionist).
The concert will be in two parts.
Visitors will be welcomed from 18:15 to have a glass of wine served by Barents restaurant, as well as enjoy two current exhibitions.
