At the contest "Best Building of the Year in Latvia 2022" award ceremony on Thursday, August 17, in the cultural center Pearl of Ulbrook 35 creators of the best construction objects completed last year were honored in eight nominations. This year, the contest took place of the 25th anniversary cycle, and at the end of it, the Grand Prize was presented - it was awarded to the building complex Ola Foundation in Ķīpsala.
Normunds Grinbergs, chairman of the board of the Latvian Association of Builders, head of the show's jury, emphasizes: «We are pleased that we can present the Grand Prize in the anniversary cycle, because it is earned only by those object-creating teams that have done truly flawless work, used innovations and show a responsible attitude towards the environment and society . We don't present the grand prize every year, but this year the jury observed the high quality of construction in all the objects evaluated in the final.»
