Two brilliant musical stars - violinist Elīna Bukša and pianist Aurēlija Šimkus - together in one evening! A program nominated for the Great Music Award 2024 in the “Concert of the Year” category. 

Violinist Elīna Bukša and pianist Aurēlija Šimkus - internationally acclaimed Latvian artists whose mastery, expressiveness, and depth of interpretation leave no listener unmoved.

On the evening of May 10 The Ola Foundation music salon will present a program nominated for the Great Music Award 2024 in the "Concert of the Year" category, revealing the power and magic of the music of W.A. Mozart, César Franck, Béla Bartók, and Latvian composer Evija Skuķe.

The concert will be a beautiful experience for everyone who loves high-quality chamber music, where outstanding virtuosity, profound emotionality, and unparalleled musical interplay will come together.

🎻 Elīna Bukša - one of one of Latvia's brightest violinists, which has been performed at Wigmore Hall in London, the Auditorium du Louvre in Paris, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, and Bozar in Brussels, and has also collaborated with orchestras such as I Virtuosi del Teatro alla Scala, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, and the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra. Her talent has been highly acclaimed at prestigious international festivals and concert halls around the world. 🎹 Aurēlija Šimkus - an outstanding pianist who has received international recognition, including the prestigious Echo Klassik Award, and has performed at festivals such as Interlaken Classics, Kissinger Sommer, the Kurt Weill Festival, the Bonn Schumann Festival, and others. She has performed with the English Chamber Orchestra, the Warsaw Symphony Orchestra, the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra, the Latvian State Choir "Latvija", and many other distinguished ensembles.
