On May 13 at 19:00 Elīna Šimkus (soprano) and Vestards Šimkus (piano) will perform a romantic concert "Ir viens vakars" at the Ola Foundation cultural space.
The program of this concert will include solo songs by Latvian composers Jāzeps Mediņš, Jānis Mediņš and Jāzeps Vītols, which are personally important to both artists. The listeners will also have the opportunity to hear Vestards Šimkus' piano music and a special version of Ēriks Ešenvalds' "Dvēseles dziesma" for voice and piano.
Concert in two parts.
Guests are invited to arrive from 18:15 for a glass of wine from "Barents" restaurant and for a viewing of two current exhibitions.
