The passion and passion of Daumants's interpretations not only captivates, but also convinces - his thoughts and vision of the piece are always clear and true. Emotions and dynamic gradations in his playing can reach the extreme limits, however, intimate lyrical digressions and reminiscences are always pleasing in the multi-layered relief of form. It just seems that it is important for a pianist not only to learn the text, but to dig down to its deepest essence, to discover its main task and message.
