15 February at 19:00 The composer's soulful concert programme “Mēnessgaismas skaņu zīmējumi” (Moonlight Sound Design), which has received widespread international acclaim, will be performed at the OLA Foundation cultural space.

At the center of the evening will be Raimonds Tiguls, who will lead listeners through finely crafted soundscapes with the sounds of the piano and his own voice. He will be joined by outstanding artists:

  • Beāte Zviedre - voice
  • Ieva Šablovska - harp
  • Andis Klučnieks - pūšamā stabule and flute

The evening's musical richness will be complemented by the string quintet of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra:

  • Sandis Šteinbergs - 1st violin
  • Raimonds Melderis - 2nd violin
  • Arigo Štrāls - viola
  • Ainārs Paukšēns - cello
  • Raivo Ozols - double bass

Raimonds Tiguls is one of the most outstanding contemporary Latvian composers, known for his ability to combine various musical genres - from ambient and electronic music to folk traditions. His compositions, including the legendary works Dod, Dieviņi and Lec, saulīte!, have become an integral part of Latvia's cultural heritage. Tiguls' work has been performed around the world, and his works have been included in more than 20 music compilations in Germany, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.
