On February 6, the fourth discussion in the OLAS SARUNAS series will take place at the cultural venue Ola Foundation on the topic – HOW TO UNDERSTAND THIS CONSTANTLY CHANGING TIME?
The discussion will feature prominent Latvian figures such as Archbishop Jānis Vanags, Pēteris Sproģis, and Mārcis Auziņš.
The discussion will be moderated by the renowned journalist Anna Peipiņa
Discussion objective: This discussion will explore how to preserve stability, values, identity, and meaning in today’s world, where change has become a constant reality, as well as our role in shaping this change.
Key questions:
Stability of identity and values:
- How can we preserve our values and inner peace in a world that is becoming increasingly complex?
- What role do spirituality and religion play in a person’s ability to find stability and security?
The role of the individual in changing times:
- Are we merely witnesses to change, or are we also active participants in it?
- How can our individual decisions and choices influence our collective future?
Our connection with the past and the future:
- How can we learn from the past and use its lessons to build a better future?
- Are we losing our connection with history and its significance due to today’s fast-paced lifestyle?
We invite everyone interested to participate and join the discussion. Registration is open to everyone, and participation is free of charge with prior registration.
Entry is for registered participants only; places are limited.
