Francesca Kirke's solo exhibition “Venetian Mirrors”, which was on view at Ola this summer, was nominated in the “Visual Art” category in the autumn voting round of the Latvian Public Media annual cultural award “Kilograms of Culture 2026”. Now we are even more delighted to share the news that, in the viewers' and listeners' vote, the exhibition received the greatest support in its category and has become a finalist for “Kilograms of Culture 2026”!

“Venetian Mirrors” at Ola brought together a great many visitors, sparked conversations and reflection, and received wonderful feedback. That is why this recognition is especially meaningful to us: it came from you - the viewers and art lovers who visited the exhibition, voted for it, and allowed yourselves to be drawn into the art world created by Francesca.

We are wholeheartedly delighted for Francesca Kirke and her unique art world, which entered Ola's spaces this summer and spoke to so many of you. A huge and heartfelt thank-you to everyone who voted, as well as to all those who joined us during the exhibition.

And the biggest congratulations to Francesca! Thank you for placing your trust in Ola and for the exhibition that was a true pleasure to experience together.

Now let's keep our fingers crossed for “Venetian Mirrors” in the final!
